Create a shortcut key by right clicking on the excel icon on the desktop or from the folder menu and click properties. Define your shortcut key. Can do from the keyboard once this is done.
There is no single shortcut to "show the desktop." All shortcut keys are easily modifiable, so the instructions may very from distro to distro. Ctrl - Alt - D is the most popular shortcut for showing the current desktop (remember that most Linux environments support more than one). I believe KDE 4 only supports switching between virtual desktops, though.
In Windows, double-click on the Excel icon or right-click on the icon and select OPEN. On the MAC, single-click (MAC) on the Excel program icon (the same way you would open most other programs).
Windows key or Ctrl + Esc
You can do it using the Shift 5 combination on your keyboard, as it is directly on your keyboard.
Usually on the bottom left corner of the screen (next to the "start" button) the is an icon "Show Desktop".This is partially true but actually this doesn't minimize windows, it just hides them. There is not button for this but the keyboard shortcut is windows key + M and to reverse it the shortcut is windows key + shift + M
There is no shortcut key of input in qbasic
go to Windows --> run --> Type "winword" a new Microsoft word document would open up.
laptop bluetooth shortcut key
ALT+F4. A lot of window managers and desktop environments on Linux also use this shortcut.
YES! If you first press the SHIFT KEY, and then (while continuing to hold down the SHIFT KEY) drag the site icon to any folder (including to the desktop), the shortcut that is produced will have a .URL [internet shortcut] extension, rather than a .WEBSITE [pinned website] extension. This is how it works on IE9 Release Candidate. This may also have worked this way on the IE9 Beta, but I did not try the Beta. [thanks to the user "mxyztplk" from computing.net]
Assuming your keyboard has a 'Windows Button' (usually bottom left between Ctrl & Alt) press that and 'L'....this will lock your workstation.
