A gigabyte is a measure of capacity, not speed.
It will work. Its been working for me. A little Laggy though on the videos but not on the game play. My PC specs are, Dell Gx280 2.8Gigz 1Gb Ram 1Gb GPU GS 8400.
i think the speed of the computer will increase
Well I have had several other computers and laptops before. My new Emachines computer that I purchased this week had 1GB DDR2 in it and it has beaten all my other computers and laptops in speed. So I'm guessing it's all thanks to the 1GB DDR2. Well I have had several other computers and laptops before. yes but the game speed will be very slow
No you can't. You need at least 1gb ram.
Isn't ProMos a RAM vendor? If this is the case, I believe ProMos shipped their 1GB part at PC-DDR2 5200, or 667MHz for the clock frequency of the RAM itself. The processing unit built into the ram probably doesn't have a discernible clock speed, or it is synced with the RAM's clock speed.
Well, 1000Mbps equates to 1Gbps. So your answer is the 1Gbps, which is incredibly fast.
I think the 1gb 2rx16 is best!
Readyboost a a program wich may be used to speed-up your computer. Plug in a USB stick, and press readyboost. (Like if you have a 1GB USB stick , your PC will get 1gb more RAM) More about it : http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/speed-up-your-windows-vista-computer-with-readyboost/
1GB has way more memory. 1GB is 1000 MB. so 512 MB is about half of 1GB
Yes, as long as the motherboard is not picky about the RAM, it should work fine, but the motherboard will throttle the RAM to PC2100 speed if that is the fastest it supports.
Yes. 1GB = 1,000MB
