Packard Bell. Their PCs were of bad quality (they cut costs in many ways), the sound cards had lots of issues (as they put them on the same ISA cards as the MODEMS!), and the motherboards were custom, so you could not install any ATX motherboard in there. In fact, they even made their PCs with USED parts!

Their support was terrible (and unhelpful) too. The lines were always busy, and repairs took forever, only for them to break again.

They pulled out from the US in 2000, as their sales fell due to the terrible quality of their PCs. However, they still sell PCs in Europe, and Acer, another bad PC company, now makes PCs under the Packard Bell brand name overseas.
