What software is John MacAfee best known for?

John MacAfee gained experience as a software programmer for NASA in the late 60's and went on to work for Lockheed and Xerox. In the early 80's he became interested in Computer Viruses and started to develop ways to combat them. This led to his creation of the Anti-Virus software, MacAfee Anti-Virus in 1987. He later founded the company (Tribal Voice) that was instrumental in developing one of the first social media networks, a chat program, known as PowWow. He has sold his interest in these companies and is now trying to produce all natural antibiotics.
