Define properly. In my mind, that makes me think: What things can you use to learn how to type faster and more efficiently? You could find sites (my friends use facebook's typing add-on) that give you words for you to type -- they help you improve and they also time you to see how fast you're getting. As a kid, I looked at books and typed them out. It's how I've gotten good at looking at something and not having to look at the keyboard AT ALL. Or you could buy a typing program. If you want proper finger placements, I can't help you. I don't do that kind of proper(:

Adding on to above

"Properly" would probably mean finger placements. In that case, there are many programs available for purchase that can help you find where to place your fingers properly, using the traditional way (Index fingers on the "f" and "j" keys, to start with). There are also tutorials on the web that you can freely look at, but they may not go into depth. Make sure not to put 100% trust into a free website, as they could be very well wrong. Make sure you do your research.

"Properly" could also mean quickly and effeciently. If that is the case, begin learning how to type properly with finger placements, above. Then make yourself practice using exercises attained from the internet or bought from a program.
