A video player that is able to play digital motion picture files that end with the file extension .MOV is Windows Media Player, and can be found pre-installed on almost all computers running a version of Microsoft Windows.
It varies according to file extension.
A file with the extension MOV is one that contains multimedia such as a video with music as well. One would need the QuickTime software in order to play videos with this type of file.
You might not be able to play because of the lack of video or audio driver. The file extension could also be not supported by media player.
Depending on what format your video is, quicktime may not be able to play it. I like VLC for a video player. It plays every video format I've ever tried. It's free to download. This could also be because of the type of file it is, as mentioned before. If your computer doesn't recognize the type of file (.wmv, .mov, etc.), it will either try to open it in a program it thinks is best, or it will ask you what you want to open it in. Sometimes it is just a bad file, and cannot be played at all, even with the correct player for the extension. Also, look at the extension (.mov, .wmv, etc.). '.mov' (a common video file extension appearing after the file name) is able to be played in QuickTime, and .wmv (another common file extension) is able to be played in Windows Media Player. Look at the extension and find the corresponding Video Player that plays that extension or file type. As mentioned before, it might just be a bad file, and needs to either be redone, or redownloaded, depending on where you got it from.
If on a video file it typically means when you play the file it ask you to download a unique video codec to watch. In reality it is givig you a boatload of trojans & spyware.
it depends to what extention the video file is if the file is playing in the player you don't like pull up a video converter drag it to the converter press the extention that plays in the video player you like and convert it and enjoy
If a copied video file does not play on a laptop the player on the laptop might be worn out. It could also be the format of the DVD that the file was copied to might not be correct. If the DVD is a data DVD than the video file will not play.
Yes there is FLV Player that allows you to play any flash video file
To play swf files you will probably need an swf player. There are lots of freeware tools on the web which are rather good and easy in use.
To open .tmp video files, you can first try renaming the file extension to a more common video format, such as .mp4 or .avi, and then attempt to play it with a media player like VLC or Windows Media Player. If that doesn't work, you can use a file recovery tool or video repair software, as .tmp files are often temporary files created by video editing software. Additionally, check if the original program that created the .tmp file can recover or convert it into a usable format.
The .zip file extension identifies files that have been compressed. Their smaller size means that they can be stored in less space or sent over the Internet in less time. To view the contents of the zipped file they need to be unzipped. With most computers you can double click the .zip file and the original file will be uncompressed and stored in the same place as the zipped file. The unzipped file will have it's own extension .m4v, .avi, .mov etc. which will identify what software is needed to play the video but most computers can play most video formats.
