Everyday living in Japan changed significantly under the government through increased regulation and control over various aspects of life, such as education, employment, and media. The government emphasized nationalistic values and conformity, which led to a more homogenous society. Additionally, policies focused on industrialization and militarization transformed the economy and labor practices, impacting how people lived and worked daily. These changes fostered a sense of unity but often at the cost of individual freedoms and diversity.

The Japanese government objected to the segregation of Japanese school children in San Francisco because it viewed such actions as discriminatory and a violation of international norms regarding the treatment of its citizens. Additionally, the government opposed efforts to end Japanese immigration to the U.S., believing it undermined the dignity and rights of Japanese nationals and would harm diplomatic relations between the two countries. Hi, Go there! Throw yourself in the deep end. If that is not possible then do a Conversational Japanese course. YOU will learn real Japanese, the everyday Japanese that you need to use in general living, shopping, meeting friends, using public transport etc.. Formal Japanese education is very textbook orientated so you end up speaking like a robot, not what real Japanese use. A good course I recommened is at www.japaneselanguagecoursesguide.com. This an easy to follow and use conversational Japanese course.
