The Edelweiss Pirates were a youth resistance group in Nazi Germany during the late 1930s and early 1940s. Their primary aim was to oppose the Hitler Youth and the Nazi regime's authoritarian control over German society, particularly the indoctrination of young people. They sought to promote alternative values of freedom, individuality, and rebellion against the oppressive norms of the time, often engaging in acts of defiance such as vandalism and distributing anti-Nazi Propaganda.
