Any clip in a transition needs "handles" either side to make a smooth transition. I had same issue in Premiere Elements 9 and couldn't work out why until I saw the web page at the related link below.

Trimming the clip is all you need to do - the video explains why.

Why are f-block elements called inner transition elements?

F-block elements are called inner transition elements because they have partially filled f orbitals, which are part of the inner electron shell. These elements typically have electrons filling the f orbitals after the d orbitals, hence the term "inner transition."

What sublevel are filling across the Transition Elements?

Transition elements typically fill the 3d and 4s sublevels across the periodic table. As you move across the transition elements from left to right, electrons are added to the 3d sublevel until it is full, before filling the 4s sublevel.

How do transuranium elements differ from other inner transition metals?

Transition metals are d-block elements. Their general electronic configuration is (n-1)d1-9 ns0-2. The last electron enters the d-subshell.Inner Transition metals are f-block elements. Their general electronic configuration is (n-2)f1-13(n-1)d1-9 ns0-2. The last electron enters the f-subshell.

What is one of the metals that can use the inner shell before using the outer shell to bond?

Copper is an example of a metal that can use its inner shell before outer shell electrons to bond. It has a configuration of 3d104s1, and the 4s electrons are used before the 3d electrons in bonding reactions.

What column contains elements whose electron configuration end with d4?

The column that contains elements whose electron configuration ends with d4 is the "transition metals" column. Transition metals have partially filled d orbitals in their electron configurations, typically with the d orbitals being filled first before the s and p orbitals.

What elements tend to lose electrons to form a complete octet?

Basically anything with less than 4 electrons in it's outer shell will tend to lose them. If they have exactly four (the carbon group elements) its tougher to tell. But anything before the carbon group elements (not including the transition metals, they have their own rules) will lose electrons.

Can transsexuals have babies?

Yes. Transsexual men can have babies before transition. Transsexual women can father children before transition. After surgery, when their transsexualism is eliminated, they become sterile.
