Try feeding her or just leaving her alone for a little bit.
To add on to the top answer, yes you should leave it alone for a few minutes to calm down or try to feeding it one of its favorite treats or something, then after its calm you can try again. Another way, you could wrap a folded towel around it to pick it up, leave it in for a minute then you can take the towel off and it should be fine. A lot of patience, love, the right care and attention will make it nicer and calmer.. eventually it will fall in love with you and be fine :) Good Luck and I hope this helped you.
Scratching and Biting.
The children should be nice to the guinea pig and make sure you ask if it is known for biting
guinea pigs get what they want by peeing on people, biting,or high pitched squealing.
by running away or biting with its sharp tusk
The chances are your guinea pig doesn't hate you there very friendly animals once you build a relationship with them. if your guinea pig is acting shy around you or biting you try spending more time with it and putting things for it to chew in its cage it may be biting because its teeth are long and its trying to file them down.
To stop a guinea pig from biting, try to determine the cause of the behavior. It could be due to fear, stress, or feeling territorial. Ensure your guinea pig has a comfortable and safe environment, handle them gently, and provide positive reinforcement for good behavior. If the biting continues, consult with a veterinarian or animal behaviorist for further guidance.
just markijng ther territory !
As I have a few guinea pigs.. All I can say that it would be sick, ammonia maybe, or if its young (1day to 2months) then its just teething..
Sure! I have a hamster & it could also be mean by biting you. The same thing for guinea pigs, too.
if a female guinea pig is biting the other one separate them. Then put them back together when the one got bit is ok again!!!
you should have 1 large getaway otherwise they'll both get alone
NO! please do not attempt to put them together. The guinea pig will more than likely try to kill/eat the hamster.
