Many times Explorer will remove or disable the Folder Option in Tools but there is a way to deal with it. If Folder Options is disabled but Registry Editor is still working in your system, then you can enable Folder Options by editing Windows Registry.
Go to any explorer/my computer window and click on tools>folder options, go to middle tab, find the checkbox for "show hidden files/folders" and click it, you may also want to deselect "hide protected operating system files". You can also get to folder options from the control panel.
Click on Tools then Folder Options. Then click on 'Restore Defaults' button.
Click More and you will see more options, including your spam folder.
