In a typical report layout, the section that prints directly below the Report Header is the Page Header. The Page Header usually contains elements such as the report title, date, or column headings, providing context for the data presented in the subsequent sections of the report.
To make all the headers different in Microsoft Word, you can use section breaks. First, place your cursor where you want to create a new section, then go to the "Layout" tab, select "Breaks," and choose "Next Page" under Section Breaks. After creating sections, double-click the header area of the new section, and in the "Header & Footer Tools" design tab, uncheck "Link to Previous" to unlink it from the previous section’s header. You can now customize the header for each section independently.
To display the Header and Footer command group in Microsoft Word, you should select the "Insert" tab on the Ribbon. Once in the Insert tab, you'll find the Header and Footer options, allowing you to add or edit headers and footers in your document.
The tab that includes the option of creating a different header and footer can be found on the header and footer section.
