The F5 key can be found between the F4 and F6 keys. Some keyboards use the Function (F) keys to control audio volume and screen brightness etc. To function as a normal function key the Fn key should be pressed at the same time as the F key.
On a Mac, you can press the F5 key directly if your keyboard has an F5 key. However, if the F5 key is set to perform a specific function (like adjusting brightness), you may need to hold down the "Fn" key while pressing F5 to use it as a standard function key. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut "Command + R" in most applications to refresh a page.
If you are using mac, and the f5 key does not work, it is because you are not holding down the fn key. The fn key should be on the bottom left side of your keyboard. Hold down the fn key while pressing f5 and it should work. Hope this helps!
