For some places where you type there is a button that has for instance a U with a underline beneath it. Click on that and you start typing with an underline. But only some places have that.

When you are typing it is a finger recognizable marking to tell you where the F and J keys are for typing. It is for people who can type w/o looking that the keyboard, it makes you a faster typer by putting you pointer fingers on F and J and moving accordingly.
