I think I am looking for a computer with a processor speed of between 2.0 and 3.0. But I don't know what kind to buy nor do I have a bottomless handbag. I need something that runs Skype very well ,as our 18 mon. grandchildren and parents have moved really far away and this is a great communication for us. But my Toshiba doesn't have enough connection speed to keep them on the air. so we need to make a change. And am looking for some suggestions from the community. Please. JJ
Skype on a computer to Skype on another computer is 100% free, regardless of locations.
Any microphone that works with your computer will work with skype. Logitech makes a lot of great microphones. You can find them at Best Buy or Walmart.
Your computer might not be compatible with Skype.
Yes, as Skype is software that runs on a phone or computer and is not a physical phone or computer.
The site asks you to allow Skype to make changes to your computer to enable the installation or update of the application. This permission is necessary for Skype to access system resources, ensure proper functionality, and integrate with your operating system effectively. Granting these changes allows Skype to set up features like audio and video calls, notifications, and other integrations that enhance user experience.

You can download Skype and call from it. You will also need to ask the person in Nepal to download skype and add him/her in order to call them for free.
A computer, an internet connection and the skype client. Some phones can use skype instead of a computer as well. You still need the other two, however.
The Skype software can be downloaded from their website (See links below).
