This is an ongoing argument similar to which is better, PC or Mac. It depends on what your greatest need is. If it is more for gaming, multimedia applications and 3D graphics, then AMD, especially partnered with ATI graphics is a better choice as it was more designed for single PC usage and high end gaming. The downside is that the Windows OS does not receive a high rating for its Aero user interface, despite the fact it runs fine. But that might just be an illusive Microsoft little white lie.
On the other hand, if you run a network, require a PC with superior data processing and good disk management, Intel is the better choice as it has a higher stepping technology, although it is not directly affiliated with any company specializing in graphics, it is compatible with most cards. Uncannily, the Windows OS rating for Aero gives an unusually high rating even though it doesn't differ from the AMD setup with the same specs. Conspiracy or marketing ploy? Try running either on Linux and you will know the truth.
All tests show that Intel is better, but amd is usually cheaper.

AMD anthlon x2 dual core. AMD has more quality. Much faster and hold more space/memory. INTEL are OK, but bad. anything AMD is ALOT better!
AMD is cheaper than Intel ...
Its not needed but recommended for better use.
Can I update my CPU AMD p340 (Athlon II) on my Lenovo Edge 15 (code is 0302) with a better performance AMD as a 4 core, for example? Or in general a better AMD processor? Thanks
A CPU manufactured by the Intel Corporation
The Intel 6th Generation i7 is much better than the AMD Athlon.
Intel is a brand of processors and PowerPc is made by IBM
Amd fx-8350... But the best is Intel Core i5-3570K yyyeeeaaaahhhh, AMD laptop processors are dip S**t, but Intel's are much better with laptops, and core management. but, if you are looking for a more budget processor, then the AMD processor previously listed would be great to.
For AMD - AMD Phenom II X4 920 For Intel - Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 Intel processor is rated slightly faster overall than the AMD processor but the cost of other things (i.e. motherboards) may make the AMD processor the better deal.
Well i would go with Intel because to me it's a little bit more powerful and (in a opinion) it's more reliable but if you get a computer with the AMD processor you were talking about you will get the highly recommended AMD Radeon graphics chip which is better than the one that comes with a Intel processor because if you are using it for gaming then i would go with an AMD processor!
