The tools toolbar can help with making these formatting changes. You can just click on that to make the changes that are needed.

Text in PowerPoint everything that can be entered into a Text Box. The Text Box can be inserted from the insert tab and can be changed to any shape. The text inside Text Box can be formatted like Microsoft Word.

The font group is typically found in the "Home" tab of most word processing software, such as Microsoft Word. In this tab, you can modify text attributes like font style, size, color, and formatting options such as bold, italic, and underline.

Changing a tab setting may move text that is aligned with that tab. If it is a single line, it is enough to have the cursor in the line of text, without selecting. The text may re-align itself if you change the type of tab. The text will jump to the next available tab stop if you remove a tab. Adding a tab may reposition text too. Sometimes adding, removing or changing a tab will have not effect. It depends on where the tab is and where the text is.
