Totally depends on your operating system and the hardware your using. If you've got a fancy dock with speaker, remote, etc, etc, you will need drivers for it sometime you can get limited functionality but probably not. Check to make sure you have usb 2.0 or higher should work with lower grade but once again probably not. And try to plug the iPod into the dock first then the dock to your PC, this realy isn't very logical but who knows. Other than that if it isn't working and you have and have done all these things, you've got a hardware/software problem.
And it would help if you would state what OS your using when asking questions like this.
Most computers should automatically recognize your iPod as a drive, anyway, without iTunes.
Yes. Even if that computer doesn't have Itunes, it is still able to charge the Ipod, so long as the Ipod can be connected to a USB port.
The iPod comes with a cord, plug the big end into the iPod and the small end into the computer and if you have iTunes, it should start charging.
To have the iPod Touch show up on your computer, just plug in the iPod Touch while it is on. The computer should automatically recognize the iPod Touch whether it is a PC or not. If it does not automatically recognize the iPod Touch, then just open iTunes (version 8.0 or later).
well, if that computer does NOT have itunes on it, yes it MIGHT will buuut, if it does and the computer does have itunes u SHOULD be safe
put the cord into the computer's USB. give it 5 seconds. put the ipod on the other end. when it recognises it, take it out, and quickly put it back in.
Yes it will make a noise make sure you have iTunes
You need to have iTunes to charge your iPod Touch. Does your PS3 have iTunes?
It has the drivers for Mass Storage Devices, but not the apple ipodservice.exe, Apple Mobile Device Support or ituneshelper.exe is required for recognition of the iPod
Download a free app of the app store called mobile mouse lite and plug in your ipod into your computer and itunes will recognize the app and it will pop up with your ipod on the screen
You have to download iTunes then plug your iPod onto the computer
Most likely not. When you plug in your iPod to your friend's computer, iTunes should pop up and it'll ask you if you want to sync. Click No.
