If no image appears on laptop what is the problem?
1.Check your AC adapter. Your battery may be dead and your AC adapter may have come loose at one of two points. Make sure the adapter is properly and snugly plugged into the back of your laptop. Power on both the laptop and the external monitor and see if an image appears on the external monitor. If no image appears, your motherboard likely needs to be replaced, which is an expensive proposition. If the external monitor does display your laptop's desktop/information, however, the fault lies with the LCD screen itself and this needs to be replaced.
