Why is spyware bad to have on your computer?

The symptoms of spyware is if you see pop-up advertisements all the time,your settings have changed and you can't change them back to how they were before,your web browser contains additional components that you don't remember downloading,and if your computer seems sluggish.

It is bad because if someone has put spyware on your computer then they can see everything that your doing on your computer and they can also read all of your passwords and accounting information that your have on your computer. They basicly have control over your ccomputer and can see everything.
