They don't because Percy will be going out with Annabeth. And Rachel becomes the Oracle so they couldn't go out.
The thing that bothers Percy about the attic is that in the book he feels a strange presence and the oracle freaks him out as well because people don't usually see a mummified body like the oracle's much.
Annabeth because Rachel is the new oracle of Delphi

The prophecies in the Percy Jackson series come from the Oracle of Delphi, a powerful seeress in Greek mythology. These prophecies are sought by gods and demigods to guide their actions and foretell important events. The Oracle serves as a conduit for communication between mortals and the divine.
The Oracle came out of the attic to talk to Zoe Nightshade.
She becomes the Oracle of Delphi.
The oracle does not reveal the full nature of the prophecy concerning Percy Jackson, leaving him uncertain about specific details of his fate and the challenges he will face. It omits key information regarding the consequences of his actions and the identities of those who will be involved in his journey. This ambiguity adds to Percy's struggles and the complexity of his decisions throughout the series.
