A factory default reset disc should be created so that you are able to possibly fix your computer if it ever breaks in the future. If adware or viruses get on your computer and change/remove important system files/settings (or if you accidentally mess something up yourself), a reset disc will allow you to wipe your data and start out again as if you had just bought the computer. While factory reset discs can prove to be extremely useful, they are not the end-all solution to fixing computers (they don't work all of the time, especially if the problem is entirely because of hardware failure), and they aren't meant to be used continuously as a simple fix (unless you don't mind losing all of your documents/installed programs).
To reset one's BIOS to factory settings, look for the terms default, factory, or recommended. You many have to press F1 for help. Sometimes the default settings are listed in the help. You can also try removing the clock battery, this should reset all BIOS settings. However, you need to reinstall the battery in order to save any new changes. To reset one's Operating System to factory settings, one needs the restoration disk that came from the brand manufacturer or the install disk for the OS.
The default is C: that is the default drive letter, the default drive number is Disk 0
Basic disk type
Rescue Disk
An emergency start-up disk
If there is an unallocated space on your disk, you can create partition directly with this unallocated space; if there is no unallocated space on your disk, you should first shrink a comparatively larger partition to get an unallocated space, then create partition
By default, the IRQ for the floppy disk controller is IRQ 6.

i have a new hard disk so what i should do ?
To reboot a Acer Aspire 3680 laptop without using a recovery disk you should press Alt F10 on startup, if this is done correctly it should say loading Windows Files. If you are still having problems you should seek professional help from a computer technician.
it does not divide a disk by necessity. you can chose, when formatting, to divide the disk into partitions, but this is not necessary. default is that you have no partitions (which is technically the same as 1 partition).
A floppy disk typically uses IRQ6 (that is on windows server 2003)
