When you open minecraft, where you login with your information, clicks on options, and then force update. You can also just delete the minecraft.jar file by going into the .minecraft folder. To get to the .minecraft folder, go into texture packs, click on open texture pack folder, click back on your folder window, go to bin, and then delete a file called minecraft. Don't worry; minecraft will download a fresh copy after that without any of the mods installed
