It should. They are mainly plug and play now. The Mac has software to use it. The Enhanced software that comes with the players is where the problems are. Most only come with Windows compatible software.

The DVD must be a digital copy in order to download to your mac. If you have a DVD or CD with documents, then you should be able to download it to you mac. If it is a DVD with a movie, it will not work because either it's blocked. It will only show links of the dvd. A CD with music can be downloaded into mac through itunes.
Yes
a samsung camera? yes, it should work, unless you have an old mac. Samsung makes many different products, some of which work on the Mac, some of which do not. For example, I can say with certainty that the Samsung ML-1450 and ML-2010 laser printers work fine with Macs, since I have used both for years without trouble. The Samsung (300-something series) color laser printer also works with Macs, but the software driver is a bit buggy.
Samsung has limited compatibility with the Mac. They have made a plug-in available which will sync your contacts via the Macs iSync software. (See links below)
DVD drives will work across both Macs and PC's.
I am looking for the answer to this question and it seems like no.......
There are a few free DVD rippers for Mac OS X that Macworld recommends. These DVD rippers include HandBrake, Mac The Ripper, and MacX DVD Ripper. These DVD rippers work extremely well, but should only be employed for personal reasons due to copyright laws.
The Samsung supports DVD-RW, so if it will not play on the DVD player the disc may need to be finalized.
Inserting a DVD into the Mac's DVD drive slot will usually launch the DVD Player software. No uploading is required.
In order to save a DVD to a mac you will have to get a DVD ripping software, one that I use is called handbrake.
