A CR2032 battery is a flat battery, about the size of a thick US0.25$ piece: 20 mm across, 3.2 mm thick. The name of the battery is derived from these dimensions: 20 and 3.2 gives 2032. Other batteries in the CR20XX series are CR2020 (2.0 mm thick) and CR2016 (1.6 mm thick). All these batteries are 3 volt (nominal).
This is not AAA-sized (10.5 mm across, 44.5 mm long). Also, an AAA battery is 1.5 volt (nominal).

Yes, a CR2032 battery is compatible with a CR2025 battery in terms of voltage and size; both are 3V lithium coin cells. However, the CR2032 is thicker at 3.2 mm compared to the 2.5 mm thickness of the CR2025. This means that while the CR2032 can fit in some devices designed for a CR2025, the reverse may not always be true due to the extra thickness. Always check the device specifications before substituting batteries.

If it will fit it will work. They are both 3 volts.
My 2001 A4 1.8T remote batteries are Panasonic CR1620 3v.
Yes you can. However, the 2025 is 0.5mm thinner so will be a slack fit. It is also down on capacity; a lowly 165mAh as opposed to the meaty 220mAh of the 2032. The real difference is that on a constant 15Kohm load drawing 190uA @ 200C, the CR2032 will last 1000 hours and the CR2025 800 hours.
No set answer to that, it depends on the size/capacity of the battery and what it's powering.
The difference is in the height and capacity. The 2016 is 1.6mm (hence the 16), and the 2032 is 3.2mm (again, 32). The capacity on the 2016 is only 80mAh, and the 2032 is 200mAh. They are both 3V batteries. So if you replace a 2016 with a 2032 it will work fine, and will last longer, but you need to make sure that it will actually fit in the battery holder since it's twice as thick.
it takes two 3V CR 1620 batteries
Yes, they have two batteries... Model CR2025 3v batteries have been changed but still not working
