You can if it is a CD-RW (Read/Write) they can be re-written, a limited number of times.
--------------------
It depends on weather the Cd-rom was closed after it was burned. During the burning process you have the option of adding files at a later date or closing the session. Once the CD is closed you cannot add any other files.
You can erase songs off a CD only if you are using CD-RW.You open the folder where the CD is, choose the songs you'd like to erase and delete them like every usual file.if its not rw you cant
No.
you have to have a certain kind of CD the do that. it has to say CD-RW on it. =]
CD-RW
It depends on the CD's format, how it was burned, and whether the session is still open or not. If it is a CD-RW(Read/Write) you can erase these and re-write data on them. If you are trying to erase a store bought CD or a CD-R or CD+R you are out of luck, once these are burned they are done.
Go onto "My Computer" right click on the disk, and then select "Format" it will not entirely erase all the data on the CD, but it will erase majority of it.
No, it does not. It simply copies the music onto your CD.
you have to use a special software to erase the music off of the CD and then you will have to re-burn the CD
You a special program.
you can't without the cd
you can't ! once a CD-R is written on, it can't be unwritten. To be able to erase you need a CD-R/W
That depends on the technology used, and the options used for recording. If the CD is marked as CD-RW (i.e., re-writable), that means you can erase the contents and record again. If the CD is marked as CD-R, any individual part can be written only once. However, when recording on the CD there is an option to "keep a session open", which lets you ADD additional contents to the CD (if there is still space), but not change anything you already recorded. The main reason why the CD-R are still used sometimes is because they are several times cheaper than the CD-RW variety.
