Usually that information is on the face of the CD itself along with the brand name. It will have CD-RW or CD+RW. The plus or minus signs indicate what type of re-writable the CD is. If the face of the CD is blank, look at the clear area around the center hole. The information should be stamped there.
CD-RW (Compact Disk Re-Writable)
CD-R - is a CD that you can only write on once if you want to know the name of the re-writable CD, it's a CD-RW
no
All CD's and DVD's are read-only unless they are specified "re-writable".
A CD-R can only be burnt on once,whilst a CD-RW is re-writable
CD-R disks are NOT re-writable. Look for disks labeled CD-RW.
Burning a disk means to write data onto it. By looking at the categories you have assigned, you are looking to "burn" or put songs onto a disk. Be aware there are two results: a "data" disk you can only play in a computer, an Audio CD you can also play in a CD player.
If you have any re writable cd then u first format or erase data from this, you can use format from cd/dvd writer then use nero or xilisoft software for re- write cd.
Re-writable CD's Some CD burners and writable media will let you write several times and not "finalize" so you can write more data to the CD/DVD later. You might loose access to all the previous writing efforts so check the instructions carefully.
We use CD-RW,as it is "Re-Writable".
If you are referencing a CD the CD must be labeled as a "CD-RW" to be "Re-Writable." If the CD is labeled as a "CD-R" it can only be burned onto once.
You can't do that. You would have to get a blank CD (or re-writable CD) with 10 or more Gigabytes of space on it.
