yes but its better to replace as its usually cheaper.
If the post has actually come out or is loose and wiggles there is generally nothing possible that can be done to repair it, the entire battery will need to be replaced.
take the car to a repair shop and have them put a battery tester on it. it may be the alternator or the battery the tester will tell
yes
Yes, car repair is not gender specific.Yes, car repair is not gender specific.
You cant without destroying the battery. Manufacturer can.
no, its not possible. Actually it is possible for the battery to freeze, if the charge gets low enough it will freeze.
yes, it is possible
'Automotive Battery' is a posh phrase for a 'Car Battery'. On purchasing, they will guranteed for 3 years, or 5 years. If it is known that the battery is older than the guarantee period, then replace it. If you don't know the age of the battery. then #1. check the battary terminals for white sulphonation. This is an indication that it is old and should be replaced. and #2 when trying to start a car and there is no starter motor noise, then the battery has 'collapsed', probably due to old age. NB Car batteries consist of 6 cells. Each cell is composed of lead and copper plates, in a bath sulphuric acid. The sulphuric acid ionises, the hydrogen ions move towards the copper place, and the sulphate ions move to the lead plate, giving the white sulphonation at the terminals. This movement of ions is part of the normal electrical function of the battery. However, with age the sulphate ions form lead sulphate(white), This builds up with age and when the lead sulphate touches the copper plate, then the battery 'collapses'; no electrical powe/electricity. It is 'short circuited'. The hydrogen ions become hydrogen gas and there is the possibility of explosion. NNB When fitting a car battery look for a little hole in the top rim. This is the vent hole to carry away hydrogen gas. You may find a tube/pipe fitment to go in this vent hole, so fit it!!!!!
The battery has internal problems and/or the vehicle is overcharging and is probably giving off explosive fumes. Don't do anything to cause a spark anywhere near the battery and take it to a repair shop asap for diagnoses.
Is it possible to repair a car that was in an accident and then resell it?
just pay 50 bucks to get a new one
Not likely but possible.
