The battery with the larger mAh rating will last longer that the battery
with the smaller mAh number will last in the same application.
Batteries have different sizes and amounts of power. -- I don't think that is what they want to know. Some batteries (of the same size) last longer because they all have different mAh levels. The more mAh a battery has, the more energy is stored in it. --
AA batteries can have different mAh (milliampere-hour) ratings depending on their chemistry and brand. For example, alkaline AA batteries typically have a capacity of around 1800 to 2500 mAh, while rechargeable nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) AA batteries usually range from 1800 to 3000 mAh. Therefore, while they share the same physical size and designation, their capacity can vary significantly. Always check the specifications for the specific battery type you are using.
A 3.6V mAh battery refers to a rechargeable battery with a nominal voltage of 3.6 volts and a capacity measured in milliampere-hours (mAh). The mAh rating indicates how much charge the battery can store and deliver over time; for example, a battery rated at 1000 mAh can theoretically provide 1000 milliamperes of current for one hour. These batteries are commonly used in applications like portable electronics, power tools, and electric vehicles. The 3.6V rating is typical for lithium-ion or lithium polymer batteries.

You can charge batteries with a different mAh rating if the charger is designed to handle them. You need to make sure of this, because Ni-Cad battery full charge state is not necessarily voltage dependent, but rather is dependent on detection of a change in voltage slope. If the power supply is not properly designed, you can overcharge the batteries, damaging them.
There are multiple battery sizes for electronic cigarettes. The batteries are measured in milliamps hour (mAh). Most batteries come in sizes 650 mAh, 900 mAh, 950 mAh, 1000-1200 mAh. The higher the mAh, the longer the battery will last after being fully charged. Therefore, if you have a larger mAh battery, you will be able to get a greater puff amount before having to recharge the battery.
A non-rechargeable AA battery has a mAh capacity of about 400-900. Zinc Chloride batteries store between 1000 to 1500 mAh, while alkaline batteries can store between 1700 to 3000 mAh.

Rechargable batteries are the best. Digital Camera's really go through batteries, so find some NiMH rechargeables (brand name really doesn't matter) with a high mAh rating. mAh stands for "milliampere hours" the higher the mAh the more battery power you have. I've found that anything in the 1800 mAh range & up works well, but of course the higher the better. Personally I like using camera's that take "AA" batteries for the simple fact that you can find them anywhere. I hope this helps, rf186
energiser is the best with high mAh
The GMEGC 2600 mAh AA batteries are primarily used to power various electronic devices that require AA batteries, such as remote controls, digital cameras, flashlights, toys, and portable gaming devices. With a capacity of 2600 mAh, they provide a reliable and long-lasting power source, making them suitable for high-drain applications. These rechargeable batteries offer an eco-friendly alternative to disposable options, allowing users to recharge and reuse them multiple times.
Both AA and D batteries are 1½ volts. A D battery is used where more current is required - it can deliver more power for longer. For typical batteries with alkaline chemistry: The typical capacity of a D battery is 12000 to 18000 mAh. The typical capacity of an AA battery is 1200 to 2500 mAh. Two AA batteries in parallel will supply twice their current rating, about 2400 to 5000 mAh. You would need 8 to 10 AA batteries in parallel to supply the current of a D battery.
