There is no way to change the input without a remote :(.
Depending on which DISH remote you have, the remote has a TV/Video/Input or Input button (newer remotes) below the SAT or TV buttons at the top of the remote. When you press this button, while in TV mode, it will cycle through the different inputs on your TV. If you are still not able to find a picture, you can unplug the receiver from the electrical outlet for 10 seconds and plug back in.
The remote changed the TV's input settings during the mishap. There should be a button on your TV for selecting a different input, and you can do it manually.

I have an Orion widescreen TV and i can bring up a menu which offers TV, AV1&2, Component, HDM1&2 and PC by pressing either the input select button on my remote or the first or second button on the left of the power button.
