I use a PH8a size filter on my jeep wrangler instead of the recommended ph16 size (i don't actually use the phram anymore I've switched to either mobil M1-301 or the k&n 3001 (i think). I always use the biggest filter possible for any application. More filter area = less backpressure/ more flow/ more debris capacity.
