I place in 2" deep pan lined with foil. I pour a can of coca cola over it and bake for 1 hour in a 325 degree oven. I baste it every 15 minutes but if you cover it with foil
also, twice should be sufficient. This gives the ham a gingery flavor and enhances the
flavor overall. I have also covered it with onion rings and honey,but while that tastes
wonderful,it ruins it for sandwich making.

For each pound cook ham for 25mins and place foil or roast lid on top of ham. turn oven on 325*. Example if ham is 18lbs you should cook ham for approx 8-9 hours. When the ham is almost prepared, for the last hour of cooking the ham lets use a great glazed topping for your ham. Apply 6 whole pineapples on top of ham pouring the pineapple juice all over the ham then get 6-8 cherries by inserting a toothpick into the cherries and insert them into the ham.
