The Fiesta ham orginated in the Phillipines. Here is a recipe I use during the holidays.
1 Fiesta ham (about 3-4 lbs.)
Sauce:
1 cup apple juice 1 1/2 cups brown sugar 1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 bay leaf 2 Tbsp maple syrup 1/3 cup honey 1 apple, cored
thinly sliced parsley, cherries and apple slices for garnishing
Combine all the ingredients for the sauce in an oven-proof container. Place Fiesta Ham and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes, baste with marinade 3-4 times during baking.
Arrange in a serving platter with the remaining sauce and glaze with honey. Garnish with parsley, cherries and apple slices
Ham can be cooked in a microwave. It can also be cooked in a slow cooker or a frying pan.
For best results, cook ham in the oven at 325F.
To cook a delicious ham in a roaster oven, preheat the oven to the recommended temperature on the ham packaging. Place the ham in the roaster oven and cover it with foil. Cook the ham for the recommended time based on its weight, basting it occasionally with its juices. Let the ham rest before slicing and serving for the best flavor.
smoked ham shouldn't be cooked in the microwave at all. Unless from one of the microwavable dinner boxes. But in any case it wouold depend on the strength of your microwave
It is pre-cooked....so you don't have to cook it at all. You may eat it cold. If you prefer to eat it warm or hot you may warm in microwave or oven. The best way to heat a ham in the oven is to place it in a glass dish and cover the top of it with tinfoil...then bake at 350 degrees. The amount of time to bake is based on how warm or hot you want the ham. Cook it to your desired temp and serve.
till its done
same way you would in an oven, just make sure you follow whatever ham recipe you have at hand. Follow the same instructions as you would an oven, just make sure your ham fits in the toaster oven since it is a bit smaller than your oven.
To heat ham in the oven, you typically need to cook it for about 15-20 minutes per pound at 325F until it reaches an internal temperature of 140F.
how long to cook a fully cooked ham shank portion..cover or uncovered?
You don't cook a Honey Baked Ham, it is already precooked. If you place it in the oven, you risk drying it out. Instead, take a few pieces and place onto a plate, and then add a damp paper towel over it and microwave in 30 seconds intervals, just until warm, never hot. ....
yes, it will take longer to recook.
why would you want to cook something twice ?? just cut off a piece and put it in the microwave
