No brushing your hair does not make it greasy, however when yOu brush your hair it sort of sticks to your head, which when your hair is already greasy can be annoying. A way to make you hair not look that greasy and stuck together is to dry yOur hair using a hairdryer but when your hair is dry it will force yOur haIRS apart and make them look less greasy. !! Good luck :)
This may sound nuts, but have you tried the "baby powder" trick? What you do is sprinkle baby powder on the "part" of your hair. BUT- just a little on the rest. I do this at home, it so works!!!!!!
It helps to wash your hair everyday and make sure all the shampoo and conditioner are completely washed out. Products left in can make hair greasy. Also for a quick fix, baby powder or baking soda can help absorb grease in the roots.
