Propane cooks at a lower temperature than natural gas primarily due to its higher energy content per cubic foot, which allows it to produce more heat when burned. However, the combustion characteristics and flame temperature can vary based on the specific appliance and burner design. Additionally, propane typically has a lower flame temperature compared to natural gas, making it seem like it cooks at a lower temperature. Adjustments in cooking techniques may be needed to accommodate these differences.

It depends on how far you altar the temperature. If you raise the temperature then the cookies will appear to be done faster but they also might not cook all the way through and if u cook them at a lower temperature then they will take longer to cook.
high for temp 5 mins
I don't know for your particular ingredients but when I cook anything with chips (fries) I usually cook at the lower temp with the higher temp item going in for longer for example chicken @180c for 25mins and chips @240c for 18mins = both at 180c for 25mins, if the longer time item was the hotter one I use that temp until I turn it down for the shorter time item.

Propane can freeze in extremely cold temperatures, typically around -44°F (-42°C). However, this is rare under normal winter conditions. To prevent potential issues, keep the propane tank as warm as possible, shield it from wind, and consider using a heating pad specifically designed for propane tanks in extreme cold. Always follow safety guidelines when using your propane BBQ in the winter.
