No but bleach does. It helped me. Try hairspray first. Leather is a cow's skin, so bleach will take the color out of the leather. The hairspray has other ingredients...and is washable with a bit of soap. Also try saddle soap. Good for the leather, and it cleans it very well.

Try using a product called the Amodex Ink and Stain remover. It is a cream solution and works on all Inks including permanent markers. Amodex also removes stains from fabrics and surfaces, including leather and upholstered items.
Alcohol might. Before you do that I would try Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. They work wonders. I have seen it remove permanent marker off of a wall. Use the one without the scrubber on it so you don't scratch your furniture. Alcohol might but could damage the finish on the leather. Please do not use Magic Erasers on leather - they are designed for hard surfaces and act like a fine sandpaper so will remove the top finish on the leather which will be expensive to replace.
