Is a flat top range better than a coil range?

Actually there are a lot of complaints about the flat top ranges.In theory they should be much easier to keep clearn,but many people complain that they stain easily and are very difficult to clean.It may take a couple of years for the manufacturers to resolve that issue.

Professional kitchens use gas ranges with flat tops.In general you can describe a restaurant grill in that way also.Either way these are rather expensive for ordinary consumers.
