Baking in a silicone pan makes it easier to take the cake out of it.
They are sheets made from silicone and sometimes also fiberglass. You place them on your pans in order to prevent using oils or one time use baking papers. They save the life of your pans, heat evenly to ensure perfect baking results, are a healthy option as you do not need to oil or spray your pan and allow easy clean up!

Glass bakeware typically requires a lower temperature and longer baking time compared to metal bakeware. This is because glass takes longer to heat up but retains heat well, while metal heats up quickly but also cools down faster.
Silicone whisks aren't as strong and rigid as metal whisks, and cheaper ones tend to be a little flimsy. They do have the advantage of not scratching non-stick cookware and being easy to clean.

No it is not because you can eat baking powder and you can't eat metal.
Personally I find that metal whisks are much more durable than their silicone counterparts. The silicone has a tendency to separate from the wire core after a few good uses and wash cycles. I would stay with metal.
