With the grill just make cheese on toast then add another slice on top. Or 2 slices of cheese on toast, then put them together with ham in the middle. For cheese on toast, place the bread under the grill until toasted, then add the cheese until melted. Ultimate lazy toasty: If you have a toaster and a microwave you could make 2 slices of toast, slice some cheese, make a 'toast sandwich' with the cheese and ham then put it in the microwave to melt the cheese.
Cinnamon Toast!!!
If you mean fixing toast in a microwave then never use tinfoil in a microwave unit or you will start a fire. Use the mirro product to fix it. All metal must be kept out of a microwave unit when it is on.
There are not microwave toaster oven that can make toast. Toast comes from bread, flour and water. You have to mix those three ingredients together, and then allow the dough to rise, and then bake it, in order to make bread for toast.
You would make your sandwich how you want it and toast it on both sides in a hot skillet in a little melted butter.
Meats and vegtables are popular
Combination microwaves have a convection cycle built in along with the normal microwave portion. This allows the baking of foods, like pizza, that would not be able to be cooked in a normal microwave.
Because the microwave does not produce infrared waves. These are for the 'toast' effect. At least in my experience, putting bread in the microwave results in either soggy bread or rock solid bread. It just can't get crispy without a heat source. For getting the 'toast' effect, the temperature needs to be more than 150 deg Celsius. Microwaves produce heat due to rapid movement of water molecules, thereby maximum temperature can go only up to 100 deg celsius After that, there is only loss of moisture and bread becomes 'dry' rather than becoming 'crisp'
To prevent enchiladas from getting soggy, make sure to lightly toast the tortillas before filling them, use a thick sauce, and bake them uncovered to allow excess moisture to evaporate.
toast saute roast broil poach grill
Usually you would brown steak, beef and those sort of meats on the grill. But you can also brown vegetables, bread, pizza, and any other type of meat other than beef on the grill. Even fruit can be browned on the grill. The normal foods that would be caramelised under the grill would be fish, sweets (such as creme brûlée), omelette, bread toast, roasted cheese (cheese on bread). You would not normally 'brown' a steak or beef under a grill this would be done in a pan unless you were actually cooking (grilling) the meat like sausages and chops. You would not tend to use a traditional grill to brown pizza, vegtables or fruit as ythese would caramelise normally in an oven or pan.
