1 1/2 tsp. ginger (preferably fresh)

1/4 c. white vinegar

3/4 c. white sugar

1/2 c. soy sauce

1/4 c. sherry wine

1 1/2 c. low sodium chicken broth, heated

Directions:

  1. Dissolved cornstarch in water. Stir until combined.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and sherry. To make sauce, dissolve cornstarch in water and add garlic, ginger, sugar, 1/2 cup soy sauce, vinegar, and sherry. Stir until combined.
  3. Add warm chicken broth and whisk ingredients together. Sugar should be completely dissolved. Pour over chicken or fish and enjoy.
