The triangle trade system was a system used for trading goods internationally through the Atlantic. The lands involved were: England/Britain, Africa, the West Indies, and America. This system was used in the 18 and 19 centuries. It would usually start in America, where tobacco, cotton, and other goods were sent to England/Brittain. Then, from there England would send cloth to Africa. These English ships would also capture and steal maybe 600-700 slaves at a time and send them to the West Indies, where some would be dropped off, and some would continue on to America. The West Indies sent continuing slaves, molasses, and sugar back to the US.
