yes originally panwar are very high clan of rajputs desendants of Ujjaini Kshatrriya(one of Highest ranking rajput clan in India).
but these days many other castes and different rajput castes use this surname but those who are authentic panwar are only belongs to royal rajput.clan also known as Parmara Rajput or its SUB-branch...
rajputs can not be lowest as they all were king at their own...but few rajputs holds high social status and few low in mordern india... those who holds high social status are: parmar,ujjainiya,panwar/pawar,kachwaha,rathore,garhwal,pundir,sisodia,rana,sodha,chauhan,parihar,solanki,gehlot, etc......
ofcourse my dear...this ques. should not be asked at all..... Panwar is the highest as it has routes with parmar and ujjainiya rajpus.. and we all know that ujjainiya rajputs holds very very high social status...... pawani roy chauhan researcher- history hons....
sikarwar r higher subcaste of rajput thn panwar..becoz sikarwar r suryvnshi rajput n panwar r agnivnshi...n suryvnsh me bhgwan raam ne jnm lia tha..or agnivnsh sbse bad me aya h rajputo ka..islie suryvnsh baki dono vnsho se bda h rajputo k jo chndr or agnivnsh h..islie suryvnshi rajput bde hote h..therfor sikarwar is higher subcast of rajput thn panwar
Ofcourse panwar as it has route to 'The royal parmar rajput dynasty''..as it has routes with parmar ,we all know that parmar had a huge and long kinngdom..the great raja bhoj, vikramaditya, and the great 'Ujjainiya' rajput Veer kunwar singh ji belongs to parmara dynasty....so jus becauze Panwar has its route with parmar and ujjainiya rajput.....so they hold a higher status than any rajputs ...
