In the old days things were done very differently to prepare leather. Unless there is some ceremonial or ritual reason to do things in the old way, outfits are made with modern tools and methods. Beads and leather are purchased at the local outlets and sewing awls, beading looms, needles and synthetic sinew and nylon threads are used.

Aboriginal people did not make clothes. They Found ANything Natural that they could. Their clothing consists of... grass, animal hides, paint (made from bugs), and almost anything natural that they could find.
