Have you asked shineray.co.uk
I don't think you can derestrict it because its 4 stroke the only way to really get it any faster is to get a 182 kit for it but then your sacrificing reliability there hope this helps :)
Hi, there is no restrictors in those bikes. I have one, and it does 70mph with no problems.
I would go with the KTM, but if you do go with the DT, here is a website that helps derestrict the bike for better performance: http://www.dtr125.net/
you cant
You cannot derestrict a PGO G MAX 125 as the restriction is built in the exhaust system within the cat in the exhaust housing so that is impossible to get at!! However YOU CAN get a relpacement exhaust system that WILL give extra torque and power which are suitable for your bike as I have got 1 for my own PGO G MAX 125!! Go to www.patternparts.net and they will sort it out for you!! I HOPE THIS ANSWERS YOUR QUESTION!
To derestrict a KTM 125 EXC, you typically need to remove or modify the restrictor in the exhaust system and adjust the power valve settings. Additionally, some models may have restrictions in the ECU that can be reprogrammed or removed. Always consult your owner’s manual and consider local regulations regarding modifications, as derestricting may impact legality and warranty. It's advisable to seek assistance from a professional mechanic for optimal performance and safety.
take the back section of the exhaust off and you will find a narrow pipe inside that is capped of, you can cut the coin shaped blank off with a hacksaw and this should give you more power.
To derestrict a Honda NSR 125 Italian export, you typically need to remove or modify the restrictions in the exhaust system and the carburetor. This may involve replacing the exhaust with a less restrictive aftermarket option and adjusting the carburetor jetting for optimal performance. It's also important to check the CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) for any restrictions and consider replacing it with an unrestricted version. Always ensure that any modifications comply with local regulations and safety standards.
