According to the Navajo Language Dictionary, revised edition, by Young and Morgan the Navajo word for rainbow is naats' iilid (nááts'íilid). There needs to be accents over the a's and over the first two i's.
The marks over the vowels mean they are high tone. Two i's in a row make it a ee sound. One i is a sound like in "bit". The two a's are held longer. The mark after the ts makes it a glottalized consonant, say it holding your breath in your throat as say it and it will sort of sound right.
