What was the mohawk Indian traditions?

As in the original "Longhouse" Religion, there weren't really celebrations. They believe that there are spirits called orenda that rule the world. Some try to channel orenda to become in harmony with the world.

As for many other Mohawks, they are Catholic, like me. Catholicism is a separate subject, though.

Mohawk Indians had a number of traditions that was celebrated that meant something specific for their tribe. For example, they would have a thunder ceremony in which they would throw tobacco over a fire to create smoke that other tribes would see to let them know a storm was coming. Other traditions included a strawberry ceremony, green corn ceremony, and little water ceremony.
