I'm intrigued that someone has suggested that it is. Avert.org states that 25,000,000 people have lost their lives to AIDS since 1981. I don't mean to be flippant, but that is a mere 892,897 people per year since 1981.
The World Health Organisation says that malaria kills a child every 30 seconds. That 1,000,000 per year lose their life to the disease. So since 1981 that is 28,000,000 people. Or, three million people more died of malaria than died of AIDS.
If AIDS can be resolved by people using condoms then malaria can be resolved by people using mosquito nets over their beds. And you can re-use a mosquito net! I think you should ask the people who said that AIDS was the most deadly disease to plague mankind if they were talking about the whole of mankind, or just overprivileged Westerners who are grateful they never lived through Black Death, the Plague, Spanish Flu or any of the other epidemics that killed off large portions of 'Western' society.
And then organize a fund raiser to get mosquito nets to people in Africa.
The plague.
The plague is a potentially deadly disease, plaque is residue left by bacteria and food on your teeth
No- it is an entirely different disease, but both were very devastating to the population when epidemics broke out, killing millions of people.
in the reign of King Charles II and the bubonic Plague was a deadly disease that killed you in a couple of days
The disease is the Plague, a very deadly disease that killed thousands of people a long time ago.
The Plague was the most deadly because it could kill people within days of them contracting the disease.
bubonic plague or the black death
There was very high mortality with the bubonic plague during 1348-1349. Never the less many patients did survive the deadly disease.
