If that doesn't work then look at weird issues like depression- it can make you fat completely separate from the expected lowered activity and over eating. Being tired is another one. If you do not get enough sleep then you tend to eat more to compensate for the lowered energy level and you tend to exercise way less. All this being said, some people are naturally bigger. Endomorphic is a body style that is completely normal but does mean a generally shorter and bigger frame.

note- endomorphic people rarely get Back pain or suffer for long if they do.
