Someone who suffers from anorexia MAY have the following symptoms:
Reduced interest in social activities
Refusal to eat in public
Calorie counting
Dramatic weight loss/low weight/refusal to gain weight if underweight
Fear of gaining weight
Obsessed with food but refuses to eat a sustainable amount
Constantly looking in the mirror
Poor body image
Admires how underweight people look
Feels fat constantly
Brittle hair/nails
Constantly ill
Secretive and socially withdrawn
Weak and tired all the time
Only eats certain food and 'bans' themself from certain foods
Has a strict food routine/pattern that must be followed every day
No longer getting a period
Lies about what they eat
Feeling of worthlessness and self hatred
Not all of these apply to every person with anorexia, but most of them will apply. Remember that anorexia is on the inside, not the outside. It is impossible to know if somebody has an eating disorder by looking at them; talking to them is important if you are worried.
try and get them help
It is not possible. Height is a genetic thing. And if your friend is still anorexic then tell her/him that he/she can expect to technically shrink due to osteoperosis

Be sure your friend really is Anorexic and watch how they eat. Anorexics eat little; play with their food and place food on their plate so it looks like they are eating a lot. Just because someone is very thin does not mean they are Anorexic and it could be a metabolism problem. Good friends can communicate and be honest with each other so you could talk to your friend and calmly tell them you are concerned about their weight. You may find that your friend eats well, but doesn't pack on the pounds. Generally, Anorexic individuals will not admit they are Anorexic and hide their bad habits of eating very well. If you can't get anywhere with your friend then perhaps talk to their mother about the situation out of concern and tell the mother that this is in the strictest of confidence. If your friend should be Anorexic they need psychological help and, if your friend is not a minor there is not much one can do if the person refuses to go for help.
the percent of girls that are anorexic is 90% the other 10% are boys (i know this for a fact)
No, anorexic people do not eat kitchen roll. I know this because i am anorexic and i haven't eaten kitchen roll since... forever!
when you start looking anorexic
Yes, you can get your sims (sims3) anorexic, you can look on YouTube how, i don't know.. Sorry, but it is very possible.
I guess if they tease them then they are just jealous of them. For Example, If someone teased you because YOU were anerexic, you would not appreciate it but you would know they were just jealous. Although I must admit, the anorexic teenager, should probably get some help to try and gain weight, believe me I would know. I know a girl who stopped eating and went anorexic, she then got very sick and almost died! Lucky they got her to a hospital in time. Trust me, that person should not be jealous because they should know if they were anorexic, they have the chance to die. The anorexic girl could also die. Therefore, if you were a good enough friend, you would get her some help.
Too much. Enough that you can die--like my friend.
If they really care about you they will understand and want to help you. Good luck!
If you noticed a lack in appetite or she has a significant weight loss, be sure to talk to her about it. Anorexia is serious. Just be a good friend and help her as much as you can.
