I would use weight watchers. It's completely safe.

Get off the sofa, turn off the TV and computer games and go outside and do something ( mow the lawn). Quit drinking the cokes, eating the chips, cookies, and candy ( I know you are doing this because I have taught 11 year olds) and get moving.
